Originally from the U.K. Jim spent his formative musical years within an hour's bus ride of the U.K.'s first R + B club run by Alexis Korner in Ealing , London. On moving to Liverpool in the early 60's he became a resident at The Bothy Folksong Club in Southport. Having teamed up with harmonica player Raphael Callaghan the duo became stalwarts of the British Blues scene. After an extensive period of travel he eventually settled in Belfast, Maine, where he now performs with bassist Dan Wilson.

Welcome. There's a possibility that you're looking for that other Jim James of My Morning Jacket and Monsters of Folk fame. If you're still with us here, check out the site, and by all means contact me via the feedback section on the Musician page. Thanks!
